$5K reward set for leads about Kansas City CB, L'Jarius Sneed, Car being shot up in hometown-Minden, LA

L’Jarius Sneed, Cornerback of Kansas City was in his hometown, Minden on Friday afternoon when his car was hit by several bullets. He was not injured during the incident.

Sneed was questioned by the police and released soon after. He was not charged for any crime or wrongdoing.

The car was shot with bullets while Sneed's two friends were driving it on Friday Afternoon. According to a report by TMZ the number of shots the hit the Bronco are not clear. An investigation is currently ongoing accordingto the Minden Police Department. Sneed's agent called the act if violence a “random and unnecessary act if violence”. He announced a $5,000 reward to those who can provide leads to the arrest of those responsible.

Sneed grew up in Minden, LA outside of Shreveport, LA. He attended Louisiana Tech University where he was drafted by the NFL and is currently going into the 3rd year of his 4-year $3.9 million contract. He had a record career-high of 76 total tackles last season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
